The reason I can confidently say that any game has just as many problems as 5E is simple:

5E has as many problems as I (or you, or both of us) want it to have. For whatever definition of 'problem' that I (or you, or both of us) choose to use. Arguing 'preference as problem' is never a satisfactory exercise.

This is, however, what I referred to as the "useless sense" where it reduces every problem to simple preference. I'm afraid that's not a trip I can take with you.

My worst opinion, which I still believe no matter how much the world rallies against me is that root beer floats are just unblended rootbeer shakes, and would be better if everyone would just complete the process.

I like both versions, so...

Yeah, the float has the benefit of the multiple textures from how the ice cream freezes, or doesn't freeze, based on the temperature of the root beer.

Texture is a big part of why we enjoy foods, whether we realize it or not.
