"I almost never have luck trying to order a pizza that I like at most places. There's too much focus on mozzarella and a tomato based sauce... and even if you break away it isn't far, some still Italian style white sauce and ooh, maybe gouda or provolone. Seriously, there is absolutely no reason for pizza places to avoid making salsa and something like cheddar or queso fresco, or just anything at all that isn't mozzarella and tomato! And why this wheat crust, go for corn tortilla. I mean, I love pizza but your rigidity and being stuck on the past is stifling. Mmmm what if it was uncooked fish on rice for crust pizza with a wasabi/soy sauce...."

Seriously. At some point realize the problem isn't the pizza or pizza places. It's your not admitting you actually don't like pizza and are too afraid to just go to a different type of restaurant (or several different kinds) or cook at home.

I'd give myself five out of five blue M&M's but only four out of five orange ones...

Which means absolutely nothing, cuz I just made all that crap up.

Never roll dice with the clergy... In my 4th-grade Catholic Catechism class we let our teacher Sister Maria play with us since she let us use the room to play after class.

That woman could roll a Nat 20 on a D6.
We need some nun D&D player AND nun DM memes!

I love gen xers telling us about how gen z wants harry potter and anime D&D.
Well, you have to admit we look kinda cute when our faces get all red and puffy.

It's not a gen X thing. It is just that every generation have "those" people. There is enough old school material for a life time of play (which many gen-Xers who have stuck with older editions can tell you). Add in all the OSR, OSRIC, and retro-clones and you have MANY lifetimes of great content in the style you purport to prefer. Go enjoy playing what you like rather than wasting time complaining at those enjoying something they enjoy that you don't. Life it too short, and us gen Xers are at the age where where we should realize this.

Besides, this gen Xer likes Harry Potter and Anime. I also like to see my low level PCs fall dead in blood-soaked grit. But, Harry Potter and anime are nice from time to time.
