Unfortunately, much "informed opinion" is informed by someone else's uninformed opinion. Especially on the internet.

Many moons ago, my professor gave us a segment of a book to read for class. The premise was 'The world is so complex, I could tell you anything, and odds are good, you have no clue if its true or false'.

This was decades ago, in an even simpler more innocent age when there was still a concept at least, of 'truth'.

Today? lol no.
