I've never seen anything as broken in a game (game-wise, not human spirit wise) as Asteroid Sanctuary in the OG Decipher Star Wars game. That game was not designed to end on like turn four or so (iirc).

I suspect your point is these things are serving the same purposes. I agree, but they feel different in ways that'll bother some people more than others, some not at all, some so badly they can't play one or the other. I know you know both these things ...

I think you forgot to mention including four smallish weapons--knives and such. You will end up with fewer but better (at fighting) rules lawyers.
