Post-COVID, it's really hard to look at salad bars and buffets the same way any more.
I dunno.
As a general rule, I hate buffets with a white-hot passion.
But when I'm in Asia ... man.
Last time I was in Vietnam, I was at a swanky hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), and had a buffet that was just completely out-of-this-world. Seriously.
It's not that buffets are bad, it's just that we ('Murikans) do it wrong. Probably as punishment for lathering pineapples on pizza.
