Since being annoyed is entirely up to the person doing so, I have absolutely no control over how annoying they find me. But even if I did, the level of annoyance I provide isn't likely to change... Well, at least not in a downward direction.

Eh, there can be periods when someone or ones is annoying you that you'd take with better equanimity when you're in a different headspace. That doesn't mean it works with everyone, but I think Whizbang has a point; if everyone is annoying you, you probably need to address said headspace. And this is coming from someone who can sometimes be a pretty crankypants.

I don't know how to tell y'all this, but there's no such thing as the Chupacabra*. I know there are people who swear they've seen it, and they're all too happy to drag out their binder of "evidence" at the first sign of a skeptic in the room. But then I open up the Trapper Keeper they brought and--surprise, surprise--all of the photos are blurry, the recordings are scratchy, the eyewitness accounts of it are dubious (at best), and the whole thing reeks of malt liquor. I'm afraid I remain unconvinced.

*it's a metaphor, you see.

I feel you there. Until just a couple years ago, I was pretty much stuck with 7MB DSL because unless we wanted to order cable, nothing else was offered here. The 500mb FIOS was kind of a revelation when it came in.
