Huh. I just realized something. TSR, Inc. was the publisher for D&D from October 1973 to April of 1997...twenty-three and a half years.

Wizards of the Coast has been the owner and publisher of D&D from April 1997 to the present day...twenty-six and a half years. So the Dungeons & Dragons brand has a longer publication history under Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro than it did under TSR, Inc.

That feels weird to me. Sort of like hearing Green Day on the "Classic Rock" radio station.

My wife and I (same age) catch ourselves all the time now when we are discussing graduation dates, or anniversary or birthdays.

We are kind of stuck thinking its early 2000's it seems, but time just keeps on keeping on.

It is now mid October. As alarming as that may be, soon it will be US Thanksgiving, and then wrap it up, 2024.
