Except that those of us who have had some egregiously bad DM's in the past read what people say about their games and how they run their games and see that these people are using exactly the same language as those egregiously bad DM's did. So, when people start spouting off about how the game should be played this way or that way, using virtually word for word the same language and arguments that I saw in some unbelievably bad games, then, yes, I'm going to probably be a lot less willing to just shrug it off.Yeah. Which is utterly sad. You’d think after having something as light-hearted and supposedly fun as an RPG be a traumatic experience they’d stop playing rather than insisting on continuing to play and assuming every GM is bad and out to get them.
