The gamer version of Lord of the Rings would be maybe 15-pages long and end with either Gandalf murdering Bilbo and taking the Ring for himself because it’s an artifact or Gandalf summoning the eagles to fly the Ring straight to Mount Doom. Either way, you don’t get anything resembling the epic story we know and love.

If I may, I would like to give my reasons to not want pineapple on my pizza.

First and foremost is my health, pineapple has some of the highest levels of sugars an my blood can't handle it

Second is one of balance. Everything on a pizza has a particular purpose and acidity is a factor of importance. The tomatoes in th sauce provide acidity and if you add the acidity of pineapple it overwhelms the balance.

That is my opinion.

I think you missed the point. There IS pineapple on the pizza. If you don't want pizza with pineapple, you don't get pizza.

Have a taco. Tacos are better than pizza anyway.

I much prefer pizza. Without pineapple. Luckily for me, it is actually somewhat hard to find pineapple on pizza around here.

I'm sure you are all writing in a deep metaphoric way, but I don't get any of it. I'm just speaking about pizza...

And I know from experience there are some folks from about 2 hours south of you in Napoli that would be deeply offended by what you call pizza in Roma. While living in Napoli for 3 years, I ate at the oldest pizzeria in the world. They had 4 things on their menu: pizza margherita, pizza marinara, bottled water, and Peroni beer. That's it.

I don't take seriously people who get offended about what other people eat. Yes, I'm aware that this is a very common trait here in Italy.

BTW, it is possible to get some quite good "Napoli" style pizza here in Rome.

Seeing as pizza was invented in Brooklyn, I am just gonna assume but some fluke the oldest ones there all closed down and the next oldest just happened to be in Italy.
