Do you think if someone made a "I didn't derail another thread with 4e discussion because I posted here instead" thread, it would actually get people to use it instead of derailing unrelated threads with 4e discussion? Or would it become just one more "lets argue forever about 4e" thread?

Well, sure, but I think we can all agree 4E fixed a lot of problems that they reintroduced in 5E. I will now present my thesis on why 4E is the not only the best iteration of D&D, but also the best RPG of all... 1/10
