It's wild that the people who most often say "your experience isn't universal" then follow up with their experience and try to push that as universal.
That sucks. Get well soon.Note to self- if you're traveling internationally with a bunch of high school kids and you end up in giant crowds repeatedly over the course of a few weeks, you are going to end up with the flu. Or COVID.
Or both.
I know a number of people who managed to avoid it until 2023 (myself and younger daughter, included)... and then got it with one of the newer strains.Bummer. I hope you feel better soon, Snarf.
Am I the only one who hasn't had Covid-19 yet?
To my knowledge, my wife, son and I have not had it yet. If we have, it was asymptomatic for all three of us.Bummer. I hope you feel better soon, Snarf.
Am I the only one who hasn't had Covid-19 yet?
My sister-in-law just tested negative a few days ago after getting both covid and the flu together.I know a number of people who managed to avoid it until 2023 (myself and younger daughter, included)... and then got it with one of the newer strains.
I have avoided it so far. One of the times when my isolation is an advantage. My mother, my brother, and (I think) one of my sisters got it.Bummer. I hope you feel better soon, Snarf.
Am I the only one who hasn't had Covid-19 yet?
Never tested positive but I had 2 weeks, a couple of months before lockdown, during which I was having difficulty breathing and by blood glucose has been reading rather high, since a friend left after visiting from the US for Christmas. No foreseeable reason for the high blood sugar readings.Bummer. I hope you feel better soon, Snarf.
