I had a friend over once and we were ordering food from a local pizza joint. They had killer Strombolis that were loaded with toppings. On the phone I hear him say, "thats right, just pepporoni". It arrived and was like a solid brick of pepperoni as they just filled the space. His direct quote as he ate it was, "its almost too gross to eat" lol

I maintain that most people only hate candy corn because social media (or other social pressures) tell them they're supposed to. Way back in middle school, I remember my classmates trying to make me feel bad for liking candy corn. "Eeew, look at CleverNickName, he actually likes eating candy corn! Do you want to eat my crayons too? AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHpbbbth."

And I still say the same thing today that I said to them: "....so I can have all the candy corn for myself? Thanks!"

I coworker years ago pointed out that if you mix salted peanuts and candy corn together, it tastes exactly like Payday bars, which everyone loves. He would always bring a bag of each to Halloween parties and mix them together in a plastic cauldron and they were a big hit with everyone.
