Amazing. The season 2 joke aside, I liked it better than the Mandalorian, and I love the Mandalorian.

Yeah I could go with that. I've loved some individual episodes of The Mandalorian overwise I just quite like it.

Actually might do a Firefly rewatch soon. Running out of stuff to watch.

I've seen people who treat their dog better than Mando treats the Child. He appears to have made no attempt to train them, or any physical attempt to control their behaviour.

But that's the opposite of what Mando is doing. He should be setting obstacle courses and throwing challenges for the Tyke. He hasn't really taken ownership of them. His headspace is still "this is delicate cargo, must find cargo's owner."

Another vote for Mando being a good adoptive single dad!

I thought this episode was great. A fine demonstration of the kind of flexibility the Star Wars universe needs. An almost-horror story with a healthy dollop of humor. The whole thread of Baby Yoda & the frog-lady eggs was delightful. The kind of subversiveness you find in the best children's literature. And it wasn't attempted genocide via light snacking - the frog lady was talking about the end of her family line, not her species.
