The mandalorian [Spoilers]

I found the episode lacking......why did they save him, only to leave him on the planet? Also, no way he could fix that to fly. Internal logic matters, fantasy and scifi need to be believable.....putting that aside.......the frog lady would be PISSED about the eggs. I just thought it was pretty "meh" overall. The whole series seems to be on the cusp of being great, and yet I often feel like, "that was fine" at the end of an episode.

Boba Fett was going to get his own "Star Wars Story" film until Solo didn't do well at the box office. I could see him getting his own TV series instead.

I think The Mandalorian is probably a better offering than a Boba Fett series. It has a lot more freedom from expectations and toxic fandom than any potential series/movie with Boba Fett would have. And with respect to Obi-Wan, as much as I like Ewan McGregor and appreciate his enthusiasm, I think Star Wars is doing best by side-stepping the main Skywalker narrative.

Yeah I thought it's fine but it's essentially filler.

The Moff Gideon/Fett thing seems to be the big plot hooks along with finding Sasha Banks, I mean Jedi.

This ones better.

Yeah the adult spiders reminded my a bit of the KoToR game ones on Dantooine.
It was the "knobby white spider" from Ralph McQuarrie's Return of the Jedi concept art:

They are very similar to the creatures encountered in Rebels.

I've seen people who treat their dog better than Mando treats the Child. He appears to have made no attempt to train them, or any physical attempt to control their behaviour.
To be fair, the Child hasn't exactly displayed any greater level of sentience than a dog. He's, what, in his 40s and still not even talking. Is he really likely to undergo a sudden surge in development at this point, even with decent parenting? "Keep him safe long enough to find someone who actually has some expertise in the care and rearing of Baby Yodas" doesn't seem like too bad a plan under the circumstances.

Another vote for Mando being a good adoptive single dad!

Heck no. Feeding and sheltering a child does not make one a good dad. That's just basic level of care you give to your pet fish. And that's largely the only thing he does with baby Yoda. But also puts him in imminent harm all the time. And has he ever actually shown love to him? Or kindness? Those things are critical to a baby/toddler from anyone, let alone someone in a father figure role lol.
