And a fair bit of the RPG stuff made it into canon (or at least Legends).
If it is not possible to develop and hone those talents on your own, who taught the very first Jedi Master those skills? Someone, somewhere originated them; it is possible for someone else to do the same.
Would people sooking on here about Asholka not being a Jedi Master also be cool with a Jedi Master (Yoda) taking levels in Sith Lord (despite not being a member of the Sith tradition) or Darth Sidious taking Jedi Master levels (despite having never been a Jedi)?
Those PrCs are for members of the relevant traditions that have completed the relevant RP requirements (plus mechanical requirements for entry).
Ahsoka is not (and never has been) a Jedi Master. Just like her master Anakin/ Vader never was.
She's statted up as a level 4 jedi as a padawan. I'm not sure she's a knight.
That's at the start of the Clone Wars.
She makes her own lightsabers (meaning she's at least 5th level) pretty early on in the Clone Wars, which she needs to be 5th level in order to do.
She gains a few levels over the course of the Clone Wars series.
The Council offered her the Rank of Knight in the CW Episode ''The Wrong Jedi'' (considering her trials completed) meaning she was at least 7th level by that stage, but she turned them down and left the order instead.
That was at the end of Season 5.
Let me state this very simply: There wasn't supposed to be any conflict between them. He was looking for her to take custody of the child he's very fond of, and she's not too stupid to recognize a child of Yoda's race. You're asking for a bunch of needless crap to be added for some manufactured drama. This episode was about relationships, not conflict. All the conflict was for was to be a vehicle for narration.
I will say that it gets to a point where when every episode warrants a new rant with the exact same complaints every time, it might be time to step away?
Ahsoka is not (and never has been) a Jedi Master. Just like her master Anakin/ Vader never was.
I get that the way the episode was written, there was no conflict between them. But it leaves the episode with dreadfully little tension, if all you have is two invincible characters taking down pretty favorable odds. Plus it left no teeth to any of the dialogue between them. They are both on the same page and on the same side, so what you are left with is no tension in the dialogue, and the writers visually struggling to come up with dialogue for these two characters. with no tension and no exciting dialogue, the episode ended up feeling like someone rubbing their action figures together. Cool to look at, but kind of empty narratively.
The whole point of this thread is to discuss every episode. Not everything I have to say about the show is negative. I enjoyed the raid on the imperial base in the previous episode a lot: speeder bike chase, Gina throwing down with some of her MMA moves, and great visuals. A bit disjointed on the plot, but pretty entertaining. But praising how good the show looks each episode gets old too. I'd rather discuss things of substance. You should be happy there is someone in this discussion thread who disagrees with you, so there is something to discuss.
Yeah I read up on that she would be level 7 pure Jedi by that point.
After that she can't take Jedi Knight levels. Duelist levels might make sense.
She can still take force talents it doesn't really make her weaker in any way in terms of force powers or use the force checks.
IDK if I would make her much higher than level 12 total. She's picked up stealth skill as well imho.
Or that talent that lets her utf on stealth.
Yeah, in hindsight she's probably not a Jedi Knight.
Nothing stopping her from taking more Jedi levels though as the Jedi class is not tradition dependent.
I reckon she was 13th or so by the end of Rebels. The White Cloak seemed to signify she's on par with Jedi Master at that point (so at least 12th level) and likely a Force Disiple about to learn her first force secret.
