to the said and confirmed deity, from previous edition and real mythology I would place my beth on

My prediction:

Artemis (forests, hunters, nature, elves)
Asmodeus (tyranny, oppression, lust for power, tieflings)
Bahamut (good dragons, nobility, chivalry)
Hades (death, the dead)
Hermes (travelers, good thieves, trade, halflings)
Isis (love, family)
Loki (evil thieves, trickery, lies)
Pelor (sun, healing)
Poseidon (water, sea, sailors)
Set (revenge, betrayal)
Thor (thunder, strength)
Tiamat (greed, evil dragons)
Tyr (justice, war)
Vecna (secrets, forbidden knowledge)
Vulcan (dwarves, craft, engineering, invention)

That's a solid list for any campaign, whether D&D adopts something similiar or not.

Vulcan was tainted by Spock. Go all the way and get Hephaestus in there.

And if you have Artemis, you might as well have Apollo as the god of healing, light and music. That way Artemis is the Moon and Apollo is the Sun.

I purposefully included Vulcan instead of his Greek counterpart because I think a lot of players would find it difficult to pronounce his name.

On the other hand, we now have Flagr... Flafh... Flanhg... the traveler dude, so "easy pronunciation" may not be one of the top priorities.

He was? I only recall Hades and Ares...
In the Ares episode (with Hawk & Dove), Wonder Woman paid a visit to Hephaestus because she saw his mark on the magical armour Ares was controlling. He commented that he remembered when he built the Wonder Woman armor for Hippolita, and how Diana filled the armor better. He said he built a weakness in everything he crafted (including Wonder Woman's armor), beacuse "only Zeus is almighty".
