the new book or the old book?

Well, I have the book. I'm assuming he'll collect another in the same fashion (although I doubt he'll end it with strip 200). But the first book is quality stuff, so I can't wait to buy the (assumed) next one.

My two cents:

My take on Durkon is that he realized that Blue Cloak is good aligned and he gave up in order to parlay.

Is Blue Cloak "just" a paladin? What's that Stunning Kick?

[sblock]I would assume she's a Ranger (TWF)/Paladin (Smite Evil)/Monk (Stunning Kick).[/sblock]

[sblock]stunning kick and dodged the fireball completely so evasion as well. Despite owning Complete Warrior I haven't really read the samurai class, doesn't that version have two weapon fighting stuff?[/sblock]

[sblock]I hope the Paladin, if that's who she is, joins the party. It would be cool to see how she handles Belkar. :D[/sblock]

[sblock] I hope not. DMPCs aren't fun ;) [/sblock]

[sblock]Yeah, for the bastard sword. That's fine because a katana in 3.x is just a masterwork bastard sword and not the +6 vorpal bane(everything but me) weapon that we all know and love. There's also some weird samuri abilities that she hasn't used. I'm pretty sure smite evil isn't one of them.

I think reveal's on to something with the wacky multiclassing. Roy should have been able to handle her though. Unless she's just higher level.[/sblock]

Except that Roy is a fighter denied his weapon specialization and playing around with a crappy club (not even masterwork ;) ).

And everybody knows that good DMs change Katanas to what they really should be (1d12 18-20/x3, can be used one handed, with weapon finesse) ;) Andputting vorpal on a katana is just a +1 special ability.
