The poster who cried troll (merged with "why troll?")

This template was created by that innovative game designer Bill Shakespeare. His sample character was Bottom, but the Half-Ass template can be applied to any humanoid and changes type to Monstrous Humanoid.

Two is an abundance? We've seen more than that in the past. :) The mods had to say something on it one time, because it was getting to eight or ten accusations of troll per forum.
This is the only forum I've actualy ever seen this habit on (I have administered two, was an exemplary member of one (Actualy got a title change by the forum admins/mods), and was a participant in one (That had a few borderline trolls admittedly, but they weren't troll and run at least and were longstanding members, though not well liked). And when I say I could name 2, I meant I could actualy tell you their names off the top of my head (People who cry troll, not times they've done it), and given that I've only been a realy active member since march, and can only name a small handfull of users outside of PbP games that I am familiar with things they post, that's actualy a large number to me.

On a forum this size, I'd say the exact opposite. We have 1600+ users online RIGHT NOW. The boards have, what, over 11,000 users? The days of truly horrible trolls are long past, as are the days of crying wolf, IMHO. That's mostly owed to the excellent administration here, even if the boards have become somewhat dreary in tone in the last year or so. :(

As I said, I can't remember the last time I saw a thread be accused of trollness let alone actually be one.

There was that thread where Reapersaurus asked for help finding criticisms so he could tell Lord of the Rings fans why the books suck. Too lazy to read them himself, looking for arguments to make fans of the book mad.... Can't say I have much respect left for that guy and I'm not heartbroken I haven't seen him around on any board for a very long time.

I'm impressed. Almost an hour and a half, and no one has made the obligatory, I-think-I'm-witty "You're a troll!" post in this thread.

That's 'cause we already know you're a troll.... :p

j/k of course! ;)

I can find you one that it happened in yesterday. The accusaion that is.

It's the accusations I was questioning, not the actual trollness. This is a significanly more troll-free board, but the most accusing board I've ever been on. Which seems like a strange coincidence.
