I voted Githyanki.
Because they have no noses.
Imagine the mess when they get a cold!

well said!

As for why humans have to go: I like us as a species, and mechanically they're great... a little too great! Anyway, let's be proper hosts; especially considering how many levels those of us voting have gone up for slaying creatures on the list.

Eladrin: I dunno. Keep in mind the Int/Dex is to make up for a really powerful racial ability: teleport. Same thing as the Kalashtar Wis/Cha (tho paladins soak that somewhat). Also Int helps them with arcane while Dex helps with longsword/heavyblade related feats. Not maxed out, sure, but they're in there.

as for Flip-Coin campaigns: Goblins - Sunday, June 26, 2005

It gets great near the more recent updates. flip to the end and you'll see what I mean (then flip back). but yeah, so true. 3.x comic, but then again there isn't yet a 4e webcomic I'm aware of (excluding single ep's of penny arcade)

I'm surprised to see hu-mans on the chopping block so early. And githyanki before githzerai? The yanks are so much cooler!

I chose human because I actually like the variations and playing the cool traits of the 'monstrous' races. I'd rather see one of them get a greater chance than straight humans.

yeah. Also, it's too bad only humans get that third at-will. I'd like to have more options for, say, a less optimal gnome druid or (anything)warlord, right? I don't see the harm (personally) in allowing more at-wills to non-human characters. if nothing else, it'd be a reason to buy more players' options books! The lists are slowly getting longer, though, which is nice.

Humans, halflings, dwarves, orcs, hobgoblins, githzerai... yeah.

tieflings: should be an Int/Con race!!! cha is great for being charming, sure, but they don't really fulfill their places as infernaloks and taclords, and Cha is a dumpstat for wizards. Seriously, why build a fiend race and make them bards and artificers and chaladins? Other than that, they'd be perfect. I may petition Wizards to give them the changeling "or Con" deal.

If I ever DM a 4th edition game one of the first changes I'd implement is giving an additional at-will to all players.

Humans would have 4, and others would have 3. What balance impact that would have, I don't know, but I do not see an immediate problem, save the players having more tools to play with.

I also agree with you on Tieflings. One of my first 4th Concepts was a Tiefling Infernal Pact Warlock, until I saw the racial abilities and thought, "Wait a second... demons make better feylocks? BLASPHEMY!" and dropped the idea for awhile. lol. Then again, I also wanted to play headgames with people and create a Holier than Thou Deva Infernal pact Warlock, just for the sheer irony.

I think the Gith vote is gonna get split, so as much as I'd like to see them both go, I voted Orc. If someone wants to play an Orc, they can play half of one.

I didn't vote minotaur because I sensed the community would take care of that for me. . .thanks guys!

I voted cows. I grew up on a farm, and let me tell you, you don't want to be a cow. It's milking at 6am and 6pm everyday, and if the human or robot doesn't do it on time, it hurts like hell and you get mastitis. That is, your udder goes purple and hard like a rock. On top of it, you don't have sex - they inseminate you artificially. To make things worse, they take the young ones away at birth and feed them formula, so your precious milk can go down the throat of your masters. You stand in your own poo all the time, and when the milk supply goes below 20,000 pounds per year, a truck comes and takes you to paradise, where they put a bolt in your front head. Cow life over, McDonalds, I'm coming.
