The Stuff of Dreams (Orsal Judging)

ooc: Salix, are you comfortable with moving out now, or do you want to try and get Ryland healthier first?
OOC: I'm ready to roll. I've been running Gardner at 1 hp and below for about 2-3 months now so I gues we'll see how resilient Ryland is. :D

After the little adventure in Fatwon's room Devlin outfits himself in full gear, including his crossbow. "The Coronet it is, then. If they're not there then we'll check the office."

"Actually, I think we should check the office first. Let's go."
The owner of the Tower Inn inquired if they would be needing the room for another evening as the pair crossed the foyer of his establishment, and they gave their answer. Stepping out, they were greeted by a dropping sun and air that Enialis could have told them was unseasonably crisp for the port city. A warm breeze blew from the southeast as they made their way to the clerk district where they found the door at the top of the stairs unlocked. As Devlin cautiously opened the door, he was greeted by one very worried Eppy.

"Oh, there you two are", she said with some relief in her voice. "I was wondering where you'd gotten off to. Miss Oshally said she be on her way to my apartment, but when Mrs. Finster, my neighbor stopped by to chat, she said that nobody had been to my room all day. You don't think something happened to Miss Oshally, do you?", the amiable secretary inquired, a hint of worry creeping back into her voice. She paused, then her expression changed. "You don't mind if I stay late tonight, do you? Sometimes I did that when Mr. Archer was out working late on things. You know, just in case he had to stop by the office for something."

"That would be great, Eppy. Do you have some way of keeping yourself safe while we're not here. These guys are playing rough.", Ryland says, obviously concerned for her safety.

Eppy nodded. "I can keep the door locked and not let anyone in who doesn't give the right knock." She then demonstrated "Shave and a Haircut" on the top of her desk. "Knock like that", she commanded, "and I'll let you in. Anything else, and I'll act like there's nobody here."

"Well, we are off to the Coronet to see if she showed up there again. Then we will check back here. Be safe.", Ryland says and gestures for Devlin to follow.
OOC: I was waiting for D-non, but decided it was time to keep everything moving.

Once outside Devlin turns to Ryland. "Something's not right here, Eppy shouldn't have let Brigit leave by herself. We need to find Brigit and find out exactly what happened here."
