Lucas doesn't quite throw himself into things like Kareus does - but he tears into his meal with vigor and enthusiasm, and puts away a truly prodigious amount of alcohol. He can't dance worth a damn, and doesn't much try- but his trick of opening a bottle with a swift chop to the neck is a big hit with everyone.

He asks around about the poet, but doesn't get much of anywhere...

As you wake up and pack to leave, some with headaches and some without, you notice that the weather has changed. Fall has indeed come, and huge clouds tower in the horizon, slowly closing in on you. The autumn wind is brisk and chilly, and it looks like it might be a fine day as long as the rain keeps away. Wallry tells you that Firina is a little more than two days away, but that if you keep high speed you might be there tomorrow night.

Would you want to do anything more before leaving?

It takes many shoves and shakes to stir Kareus back from his drunken stupor, or to even get the slightest recognition that he is in fact still alive. He glazes at a man, who for the life of him he cannot recognise (Wallry), mumbling some incoherent words that pass right through him. Something about making speed to Firina. Who in heaven’s name is Firina? Who the hell cares! My head feels like it’s been stampeded by a herd of elephants.

After long minutes Kareus finds himself at Wallry’s kitchen table sipping a hot mug of some foul bitter tisane liquid. “Aargh! Did you have to wash your laundry in this muck!” Wallry’s wife scoldingly forces it down Kareus’ throat until the last drop is finished. At that point Kareus rushes outside and throws up. He eventually makes his way back to the stable to pack his belongings. He thanks Wallry and even his wife before heading back on the road to Firina.

OOC: He pays Wallry a silver piece for his share of the calf and the hospitality of the night.

Aliandrys simply packed up her things, handing one of the other two men her share of the calf which she was volunteered to pay for, before getting fully dressed up and preparing for a long journey. She was friendly enough when addressed, but avoided contact unless it seemed required.

OOC: sorry for the delay, was on a vacation for a week.
