I hope it shows up in big bookstores, and curious people who wouldn't pick up the Player's Handbook leaf through it, go, "Huh. I get it." And start playing.

It doesn't seem very likely, I admit, but neither did Buddhism For Dummies.
 

Unfortunately, I think someone will pick it up and go, "Damn, this is complicated. I'd never be able to do this." It's much, much easier to learn by doing when it comes to an RPG.

Hopefully a large section of it is aimed at DM's more than players with organisation, character development and story/adventure design tips. That strikes me as the bit most beginners need more advice with.

Still with 384 pages for $19.99 it has one of the better value dollar/page RPG books ever produced, considering the Star Wars Miniatures 96 page paperback is the same price!
