Ties that Bind - 3.5 Forgotten Realms Gestalt

Characters chosen :)

Ok, my apologies for what seems to have been an unnecessary delay, but I've taken the time to review all of the character entries and make my decision on who will be in the game. Everyone did a great job on this, so if you didn't get a spot, my apologies, but you had some tough competition. Also, if at least one person from each side would like to be on the "other team" please post your wishes and it may be allowed.

Silverymoon
Erudite (Corund)
Rystil (Cassandra)
Shayuri (Jonas Visage)

Please (re)post your cahracters in the Ties that Bind – Silverymoon Rogues Gallery

Citadel Adbar
Someone (Jares Athuo)
kyoni (Yorlii)
GFSRumble (Bruggin Darkforge)

Please (re)post your cahracters in the Ties that Bind – Citadel Adbar Rogues Gallery. If your history originally ends in Silverymoon, it would be best to adjust it so that you are in Citadel Adbar instead (shouldn't be too tough).

Alts (in this order)
Keia (Aseir Mostana)
chubbell (Samuel)
Sctoley (Maliq Alzaradi)
Ferrix (???)

I will be going over the characters as you post them and hopefully everyone will get approved by mid way into next week. Either way I plan to make the OP for the in game thead some time in the next few days and we can begin RP. This thread will stay open as the OOC thread, so please post any and all questions here.

I look forward to this game and I hope all of you do too!

While I'm definitely just pleased I got in (w00t!), I for one would like to be switched to the Silverymoon team; not because it'd be hard to change my biography so much as if I *really* wanted to give him a reason for still being in Citadel Adbar, I'd have to change a lot more than how his bio ends; namely, his leaving to test himself, his wild, nigh uncontrollable love of battle, and his overall anathemic nature in Dwarven society would have to be altered.

Mayhaps I'm just whiny, but I really love the character as he's written, and if possible, I'd like to be in the game that helps maintain that character more.

Well I would like to keep people where they are, but if someone on the other side also wants to switch and it won't cause huge problems with party composition (which it probably would), then I can be convinced.

As far as keeping your character, that won't be a problem. In your background you leave for Silverymoon at the same time their are 'grumblings' about you in Citadel Adbar. It seems like you could easily use that as the starting point of this game since you will in fact be leaving Citadel Adbar (oops, did I give that away). It would pretty much be the same exact character but with you RPing the last little bit of your history (who knows, maybe some sorcerers will even attack you :) ).

I'd like to say 'Thank You' to Gabrion for being chosen, and to the stiff competition as well. With such a bunch of quality submissions, I was never sure who was going to make it.

Gabrion, I will try to post the shadow summons info this weekend, and give him a final once over. I'm pretty happy with him as he stands.

Cheers,
Erudite

Hmm...well two of us have Fast Healing or some ability to regain our own HP... That means that my admittedly limited healing powah is focused entirely on YOU. :)

And I can easily add a curestick or two to my inventory.

Fast Healing 2 is all good out of battle (actually, it's excellent), but in a fight, things could get sketchy. Hopefully Cassandra can make sure that fights won't last long. Also, she has 2nd-level cleric spells and 12 hit points of Lay on Hands :heh: (and I can pick up BA if I need it)

True, true...in fact, during a battle it's easy enough for me to grab Regeneration 5, or even 10...

Still, investing in a Wand of Cure Serious Wounds, while pricey, might be wise. Especially since I think any of us could use it.
