Jarhead doesn't dodge (14 Ref save) and almost cracks in half. It takes 15 sonic and has 4 hp left.

Nail is still not interested in leaving (23 Will save vs. 8 DC).

Nail:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 6.[/sblock]

Round 3!

I'm going to handwave a bit in confidence that with 100" of move I can circle up that distance, even if I couldn't quite straight-line it.

MEA from 10N60E30Z to 5n60e30z, Attack!

(I don't have my materials with me, but I'm going to guess that even with feats, Nail's bite has a better to-hit than the claw... but go with whichever has the higher attack bonus)

If Jarhead survives, it steps to 15N55E30Z (if Nail is traveling E or SE) or 15N65E30Z (if Nail is traveling W or SW). Jarhead then tells Nail to leave.

Chomp! (Rolled 18) 6 points of damage! Jarhead is destroyed!

"The winner, by TKO in 3 rounds, Horseshoe Nail!"

"We will return next week with our all-dragon semifinal round. The match-ups will be:

NG vs. CE
CN vs. LE

The Neutral Good representative will determine which semifinal will be conducted first."

(One week later)

“Welcome back to our first semifinal match of the CR 4 edition of the Tournament of Champions! This match features the best of the Neutral Good forces against the best of the Chaotic Evil forces.”

Making his way into the northern side of the arena, this combatant measures 2 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds. He has a record of three wins, one loss, and zero draws. His only defeat came at the tentacles of Neutral’s xac-yel energon. Representing the forces of Neutral Good, please welcome the very young battle dragon Horseshoe Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!”

Horseshoe Nail (short for Horseshoe Nail Across a Chalkboard) enters to the cheers of the Neutral Good faction of the audience. He has a dull brown sheen to his scales.

“Now making his way into the southeastern portion of the arena, this combatant measures 4 feet tall and weighs 320 pounds. He is undefeated with a record of two wins, zero losses, and one draw. His draw came against a seven-headed pyrohydra. Representing the forces of Chaotic Evil, please welcome the very young chaos dragon G’aufsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!”

The wild cheers of the Chaotic Evil faction welcome G’aufs as he enters. He looks a lot bigger and tougher than poor Nail, with four powerfully clawed limbs, mighty wings, a jagged-edge tail, and a long serpentine neck topped by a mouth full of dagger-sharp teeth.

Psybo communicates telepathically to the two combatants. “G’aufs, you have the initiative. Horseshoe Nail, you choose the starting positions. Now go at it!”

Skills and Feats for Horseshoe Nail:
[sblock]He has the feats Great Fortitude, Power Attack, and Weapon Focus (claw). He has the following maxed-out skills: Diplomacy, Escape Artist, Knowledge (the planes), Listen, Search, and Spot. He knows nothing about his opponent.[/sblock]

Skills and Feats for G'aufs:
[sblock]He has maximum ranks in Concentration, Knowledge (arcana), Listen, Search, Sense Motive, Spot, and Use Magic Device. He has the feats Alertness, Flyby Attack, Hover, and Power Attack. He recognizes Horseshoe Nail as a very young battle dragon, which lives on the plane of Ysgard. Battle dragons have dragon traits, are immune to sonic attacks, and have protection from evil as a spell-like ability.[/sblock]
