Traditional Buffy and Angel Thread (Spoilers for both)

Have to agree with Chutz here. The ending was, quite brilliant and funny. I do think though next week, we'll see the return of Angelus, as Angel loses his soul.

Btw the meeting between Angel and Wes was pretty good. I kept hoping Wes WOULD come back, but some how I doubted it. He's going his own road for a bit longer.

I like that they are talking their time with this. Many shows just wrap things like this up too fast and it becomes unrealistic.

Well, Spike reacts that way when ever he hits a person. I think they were just sticking with what they set up. And that bite at the end was odd. I guess they could do something with him later.

I think they showed it specifically to point out that he is still chipped. Yeah, he got zapped when he stabbed that guy with the pole a couple of eps ago, but it was overwhelmed by his human reaction of 'oh no, I just stabbed a guy'. This one, he felt fine about hitting the guy, but still had the chip.

The demon bite- in buffy lore, the last true demon to be driven off the earth bit a person before it fled. That person became the first vampire. It would be sweet if that guy came back as a new and different version of the classic buffyvamp- maybe stakes don't kill him, but something else does.

Now, that is very interesting. If they do something like that I will be very impressed.

Yeha, I'll be surprised if we don't see Mr. Home Improvement Cultist again, sporting a new forehead.

On another forum, somebody who is obviously way too into the show pointed out that when Spike punched Mr. HIC, he clutched the wrong side of his head. That is, he clutched the side that doesn't have the chip in it.

That, combined with the trivial reaction he demonstrated to the pain, and the delayed reaction he felt when stabbing Mr. Ex-Boyfriend Who Just Stopped Being a Sandworm, suggests that maybe he no longer has the chip in his head. Maybe he's now reacting to expected pain, rather than to felt pain.

Maybe it's all in his head.

i dont think we will be seeing Zachary Ty Brian (the kid from Home Improvement). One, i dont like him at all. He was a dumb jock on Home Improvement and in all the other roles he has played, hes been homophobic, a bully and a down right ass.

Anywho, if the cops found out he kidnapped and nearly killed a girl for a 'satanic ritual', i can guaruntee he will be expelled, if not, locked away.

My mind is Hazy from Sunday. I remember it being a good show but what about Angelus coming back?

Wow! In all the time I've visited enworld, I just discoverd this. Angel and Buffy are my favorite shows I try not to miss!

Ok, I'm pretty up to date with buffy, but I missed the last few episodes of Angel, due to working on Sun. nights. My hubby related a few things, but did I miss interpute or did that lady zap Angel and jumpstart his heart? Whats up with that?

The fact that the character was a total bastard doesn't mean that he won't come back -- in fact, that's part of why I expect to see him again.

I don't recall the cops showing up in this episode; IIRC, Buffy sorta forgot about all the cultists in her worries about Ms. I Just Died Even Though You Saved Me Girl. I expect they all got off scot-free.

Except for Mr. HIC. He got bit by the demon right before it died? What the hell was that all about?

If he never appears again, it makes no sense. As it is, I think it's the gun on the mantelpiece in the first act; it's gonna get fired by the third act.

I've seen that actress (the girl who died) before and I just can't seem to place her.

She was on Smallville, playing a hired-hand at Lex's house. She had a crush on him and was stealing stuff from him, personal items. Her brother was using meteor rock infested garden soil, or mulch, to make himself invisible and attack Lex's old flame. I believe the episode was titled Shimmer.
