It takes silver a minute to actually decide to move, but when he does, he runs as fast (and as tireless) as a warforged runs to catch up.

The three of you continue along the road for a little way and then turn off and head cross-country toward the first crash. After a few hours the sun casts its magic on the sky, turning it orange and pink before it crosses the horizon to rest for the night. As the ring of Siberys casts its pale glow over the land, you estimate that you are still several hours from the crash site.

Silver queries, "Is this quite a distance for you? I could continue, perhaps even run the entire way if you choose. What do you wish?"

Silver stops moving entirely until his question is answered.

Telinor stops momentarily to respond. "We should keep moving. If there are survivors, they will need help as soon as possible. If not, we will want to make it back to the caravan before they start moving again in the morning, and so we cannot afford to stop either way." The mage's feet ache, but he shoves it to the back of his mind as he is accustomed to doing with pain.
"Actually, Silver, if you can run the entire way, that might be a good idea. You could get there first and render quicker aid," he pauses, as if afraid to continue, "or if there are no survivors, you could report back to us faster." He pauses again. "On second thought, the two ships were locked in combat. One of them must have been the agressor, and if that is the one which we are going towards, it would be best if we stuck together. If you go ahead alone, they might capture you, or worse."

You carry on into the darkness. Being off the Orien road with only the pale lights of the night to guide you makes travel slow and difficult. It is also difficult traveling toward a vaguely known destination. After a few hours, Telinor points out that the three of you have drifted off track [Survival roll= 20+4= 24] and guides you back toward where he assumes the ship crashed.

After four long hours of traveling up and down hills, you notice a faint scent in the wind. Smoke. Moving forward about fifty yards, you crest a hill. Down below is a scattered pile of broken wood and twisted metal. If you didn’t see the ship crash, you wouldn’t be able to recognize it as such. Toward the south end of the wreckage a small fire burns.

You see a dozen or so small shadows darting about down below.

Telinor's spirits rise visibly. "Thank the Host! They're alive!" He sets off at a renewed pace towards the wreckage, fears of cutthroats momentarily forgotten.

Silver observes, then begins the downhill trek. He's careful not to let his heavy body slip into any soft dirt or mud on the way down, afraid of losing his grip and rolling down hill.

Silver67, you are about half way down the hill, approximately 25 yards from the bottom, when you realize something. [Spot roll= 16+2= 18] The figures moving about are goblins! Telinor is about 10 yards ahead of you and doesn't seem to realize. The goblins don't seem to have noticed you...yet.

Silver, afraid of hurting Telinor if he takes a more direct action, will attempt to tell him, "Telinor, wait, stop, halt!" sufficiently loud to reach Telinor 10 ft. away.
