Travel domain vs stunning?

A question recently came up. Would a cleric with the Travel domain and it's granted ability be immune to stunning, or would it not count as an effect that impedes movement? The wording seems a bit ambiguous.

I think not. The Travel ability mimics freedom of movement, and that seems more geared toward removing things that physically affect you. Stunning is more akin to being asleep in this case, not being slowed or paralyzed.

I agree with Steffan. I usually think of it this way: If the effect would allow you to cast a stilled, silent spell, then the Travel domain will counter it. If the effect prevents casting a stilled, silent spell, then it's a mental paralysis, and the Travel domain is ineffective.

Or looked at another way, when stunned, you are physically capable of moving but you're mind is too frelled to keep up and so you can't make youself move, thus FoM and Travel domain have nothing to effect. Nothing but your inability to think effectively is keeping you from moving. Same thing about being unconscious or dead. Were you still capable of controlling your body, you could. But you can't so FoM has no effect.
