Triumph insults Nerds at Episode II premiere

In the US is this Dog usually this hard hitting and funny ? I had never seen this dog or the show...

I've only seen him a few times myself, but as an American I can tell you he seemed pretty harsh (and hilarious) to me.

Triumph is one of the harshest, most vulgar characters ever to hit TV.

I laugh myself half to death everytime he's on Conan. Robert Smigel (who is the man behind the puppet, as well as TV Funhouse on Saturday Night Live) is very funny. For that matter, Conan O'Brien's show is often the funniest show on the air; Conan is at his best with some of the darkest comedy ever to be allowed on TV.

I actually felt Triumph went easy on the Star Wars fans...

That was phenomenal, I must say, I was laughing my ass off. I agree, I don't think he was taking any shots that most of us don't take on ourselves. I think my favorite line was:

"You want a spoiler? Here is a spoiler.....you will die alone!"

Edit: Actually, move that line to #2. My favorite was "Which of these buttons calls your parents to pick you up?"

Personally, Triumph should have been cast instead of Jar Jar.

He probably will give new meaning to C-3PO's nickname, "goldenrod."

R2 would probably run (or is it roll?) fast out of sight when Triumph is around, who probably think that "mobile hydrant" is his personal ... ahem ... assistant.

Just don't like him name the Skywalker children.
