D&D (2024) Tweaking Bastion levels for a 3-12 campaign

So. After BG3 made solid arguments for running a game til level 12, I've been working on adapting my next game for the same level stretch.

One thing is that, if we use Bastions, I don't see any reason to not squish level requirements. I'm thinking of going with 3, 6, 9, 12 instead of 5, 9, 13, 17.

Can anyone think of any problems other than magic item shinanigans? Sure, they need rebalancing too, but other than that?

Nope.

Well maybe some of the level 17 options are not really suited for level 12. But you can just pick an extra lower level one.
