D&D 5E Twinning Dragons Breath Spells?

Oh, I agree totally. I liked the clearly defined terms used in 3e. I was positing my theory that Saves are somehow triggering to the devs.

Dunno if you ever played 4e, but it was even better on the clarity/transparency front.

JC has a thing against Twin Spell itself. He is leading a crusade to basically nerf it into something completely different in the ONE changes. In that regard I would question anything he said about rules on Twin Spell.

RAW this is clear. Dragon's Breath targets one creature and can be twin spelled. Note you have to be in touch range of both creatures when you cast it and that is often a limiting factor.

Well we did it today in CoS. Wife was a divine soul 4cleric 1. She had a lvl 3 slot and no lvl 3 spell and twinned it on myself the order cleric.

Healing word triggers VoA as well so it was good for 27 damage as well via the rogue.
