unarmed ninja?

Well... Not everything... I believe Ascetic Stalker only increases your unarmed strike damage, and your ki pool. It won't, for example, affect other factors such as Monk speed increase and other class abilities (ie Abundant Step).

This is correct, I was mistaken in my last post.

So you have to decide whether to mainly level as Ninja, and get all those really cool Ninja abilities (and expanded ghost step/ki abilities) or level up as Monk and get all thier cool abilities... I think I would choose the path of the Ninja :)

I'm not that familiar with Tome of Battle, so I assume that the above will be pretty cool. The only problem is that your Base Attack Bonus will suck for the first five levels--+2, equal to a 5th level Wizard's BAB. With Two-Weapon Fighting in the mix, you'll be struggling to hit, though at least eldritch blast is a touch attack.

You can take the feat Martial Stalker from Complete Scoundrel, make a Ninja/Fighter, and take the feats Improved Unarmed Strike and Superior Unarmed Strike (from Tome of Battle) and you'd have a pretty good unarmed character right there.
