I'm designing a couple of different modern fantasy campaigns and my time here on the boards today inspired a little thought:
Has anyone here experimented with some of the more oddball stuff from D&D in their modern fantasy games? I'm thinking Vow of Poverty or Spellfire, for instance. Or Kensai. Or stuff from Magic of Incarnum. Or Warforged as AI/Cyborgs.
I'm not interested in whether people like the stuff, or if they think they're balanced, or RAW issues- I want to know if people have used them and how have they worked out.
