Viridian Plague--Autumn's Enigma [Obscurity]

*Before long, Obscurity indeed begins to sink into the muck, but thankfully, the Blinking allows her to prevent herself from being trapped or stuck for long, and she can move relatively quickly during the Blink. This allows her to move just a little bit slower than the eye, which means it will take a while to catch up to her. However, as she gets about forty feet into the muck, there is a buzzing sound, and several swarms of what look like mosquitos begin to fly in towards her from all directions. If they swarm over her, she might become Nauseated! Fortunately, she at least has a mirror shard for the moment.*

*Many of the mosquitos are burned out of the air and fall to the muck, but not quite enough to disperse the swarm. The swarms fly towards Obscurity and box her in--there is no escape now in any direction unless she can actually disperse one of the swarms, and they will reach her in a few seconds.*

(OOC: MS1 takes 16 Damage)

Loath to stop moving, she'll use another swift channeled pyroburst but is ready to use a standard action to cast another the same round.

*Obscurity manages to blast her way through the mosquitos, while singing one of the other groups too with a well-placed Pyroblast. The eye, meanwhile, has caught up, and it tries to fire at Obscurity but misses due to cover provided by the intervening mosquito swarm, causing it to freeze many of them, causing them to plummet groundward. The eye takes its usual time to recover after firing, which gives Obscurity all the time she needs to head forward through the muck. Still the remaining three swarms, two injured now, can fly above the muck, and thus they will be able to slowly catch up to her at this rate.*

With Blink still covering her from the eye, she'll use one more pyroblast against the skitters, making sure to catch both injured swarms. Still using it as a swift action to keep up with her speed.

*Obscurity blasts the two injured swarms as they converge, but one of them dodges a bit out of the way and manages to retain its coherence, though the other disperses with the intense burst of flame. Meanwhile, the eye hasn't quite caught up again after pausing to recover from its shot, as Obscurity continues forward and onward.*

Frustrated at having to waste all her best weapons on bugs, Obscurity casts one more pyroblast (her last) at the remaining swarm. If this doesn't work she may be out of options.
