Wands? - Anyone use?

Let her cook.
Can any class use a wand? Bascily just point and shoot right?

I ask cause my friend is playing a sorcerer and wants to buy a Wand of Cure Light Wounds, which I would think only a divine caster could use?

Wands are 'spell completion' items. To use a wand, you must be a spellcaster and the spell must be on the list of available spells for your class (or one of your classes, if you're multiclasses). So, to use a wand of Cure Light Wounds, your character must have one or more levels in Cleric, Druid, or Bard-a straight Sorcerer can't do it. (Barring cross-class skill points in Use Magic Device.)

Spell Trigger.

Ranger or Paladin will work, too.

basically
if you can cast divine spells you can use wands like wand of heavens, wand of cure (whatever).

if you can cast arcane spells you can use wands like wands of fire, wands of ice etc.

there are a few exceptions like
wands of magic missiles which can be used by anyone if i'm not mistaken.
