WARHAMMER FRPG - I have it!

Then there are 53 advance careers.

60 basic careers and 53 (!!!) advanced? Don't suppose you could list the advanced careers as well?

Plus... - does equipment still have 'rarity' so that some weapons are commonly available, while others are hard to come by and armour is best sought in a large city?

And it's done by Green Ronin, so it doesn't suck.

One thing I've heard is that, in addition to fate points, each PC gets 'fortune points' which are essentially rerolls for skill checks etc that regenerate per day.
That is correct

Magic system description please.
I second that request!

I have the 1st ed Warhammer RPG and the worst aspect was the magic system. Hogshead Publishing put out a magic supplement a few years ago but I don't have it. I wonder if the 2nd ed magic system is based on it. Apparently, the Hogshead magic book was pretty good, so I hope it is. Does anyone know?

Nah, the magic system in the hogshead book was supposed to be pretty average. The previews at least made this look more interesting, and fully developed the hedge mage thing too.

Yes, it does. A Rapier is a scarce weapon which goes against a chart with a difficulty by population. So, if you were in a town with less than 1000 people and you wanted a rapier it would be a Challenging Test to find one.
