It's per Damage Roll. So, quick question: Does the bonus damage from Weapon Focus apply to each attack, or does it apply to each roll for a weapon? To illustrate, is it +1 to basic attacks, +3 to Brute Strike, and +7 to No Mercy, or just +1 to all of these?
If this were in house rules, I'd totally encourage it to be per W thoughI'd _love_ to see better support for big-W attacks over multiattacks.
Not off point though. Twin strike remains to this day my greatest disappointment with 4e (or at least the most illustrative of the superiority of multi attack over big attack) and the idea that bonus's could apply to each dice of an attack is really interesting. Couldn't imagine re-balancing for it (eep) but its ideas like this that get me thinking.I'd love to see support for big-dice implement attacks over multiattacks, too. Implement Focus is a whole different feat though.
Twin Strike being better than Godstrike is a system flaw, and makes me sad. But alas, increasingly off topic.
I could see a feat that specifically gives you a +1 to damage per [W] of an attack over 1. It would scale rather naturally.
