For a slightly more PC-friendly scenario, dig this; a Large size Dwarven Waraxe or Bastard Sword deals a base 2d8 damage. Ouch.

For increasing damage due to a size increase, which chart should i follow?

There's one in S&F which is different from the one in OA which is different from the one in A&EG.

I'm leaning towards A&EG since new material should supercede old material, but i need some backup on that one.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Savage Species upsizing chart:

1 -> 1d2
1d2 -> 1d3
1d3 -> 1d4
1d4 -> 1d6
1d6 -> 1d8
2d4 -> 2d6
1d8 -> 2d6
1d10 -> 2d8
1d12 -> 3d6
1d20 -> 4d6

Looks like the frost giant's huge greataxe just got even more nasty....

well, I'm making a ghaele charecter, and I gave him a gold mercurial great sword (basically a gift from his deity). So right now it deals 2d8 with a x4 crit. Now, if I use a spell called righteous might my size increases, as does my weapons. So a huge gold mercurial great sword will deal 4d6 with x4 critical.

But this fits into the charecter concept. An angle that sits back and buffs up mortals, until they come into real danger, then he kicks some major arse.

I just started a game in which the half ogre will be getting a Huge Gold Mec. GS and a Huge Gold Spiked Chain (when he gets the money).
