What am I missing this fall?

All right, the fall premieres in the U.S. are beginning or have already begun, in some cases. I know I'm looking forward to CSI and CSI: Miami, not planning to pick up CSI: NY (just TOO DAMN MUCH CSI!).

What genre shows am I missing out on? What show, genre or not, are YOU most anticipating this fall? Why did it pique your interest? Give me some good TV to replace my forgotten, forlorn Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Wonderfalls!

Thanks, all.

Absolutely NOTHING!

I realized last year when Angel ended that there were going to be no shows on the fall lineup worth watching... which is strange, because its been years since there wasnt a single new/returning show that I was looking forward to.

The only show I'm looking forward to is "The Shield" but that doesnt start up untill January.

my geeksquad all came to the conclusion independently that LOST is probably worthy of at least one look.

the mere fact that the commercials are giving away NOTHING beyond the plane crash is a good start.

whats on the island with them?
i'm hoping Sleestaks myself.

Let's see, first I am a TV whore. This of course would not be possible without the greatness that is DVR due to school. But on Tuesday's I will have Gilmore Girls and NYPD Blue, Wednesday's will be Smallville, and Thursday seems to be my busiest night of the week for TV. I have The OC, Joey (maybe), Will and Grace, CSI, and ER. And of course on Friday the Stargates. Oh and somewhere Enterprise (maybe).

Sleestaks! (slaps head) So that's why I've been seeing these commercials and thinking of Deep Ones. :)

I'm still looking forward to Smallville, which has Margot Kidder appearing in the season premiere, and I'm looking for good things from Dennis Farina in Law and Order.

If you get BBC America, MI-5 (Spooks in Britain) is quite good, and has a new series coming on later this fall. The first two series are out on DVD, and I highly recommend a rental.

I liked ESPN's Dream Job last year, for my token reality show, and a new season of that is starting up.

I miss the last three shows sooooo much! (Never watched Buffy much)
I loved the Firefly DVDs, but it left me wanting for more!! When we watched it, we looped the "Jane" song, and sang it repeatedly for about 20 minutes. Hilarious!

Luckily for me, a TV station here picked Wonderfalls and will be airing all the episodes they filmed (13?), but sadly dubbed in french... I wonder if Caroline Dhavernas (the lead actress) will do her own voice?

I'm looking forward to Smallville as well, specially after the way the finale ended last year! When does the next season start?

Next Wednesday in the USA!

I do not watch CSI: Miami but will try CSI: New York, I like Gary Sinese.

I will give Lost a shot as well as watching Rescue Me, Nip/Tuck and waiting for more The Shield.

Battlestar Galactica in January and my 5 yo daughter LOVES Justice League Unlimited, Survivor so those are must see's as well.

don't watch Medical Investigators on NBC...

I forgot - that's one show you would definitely be able to point at and call "foul" on, wouldn't it? :)

I hadn't planned to watch that one, myself, because it just didn't LOOK any different from the other CSI-clones.

I am actually going to give LOST a shot as well, though the previews don't give it much hope.
Battlestar Galactica actually looks like a cool one, but I think for the most part I am going to watch of re-runs and DVD's.....
