What are you doing with the money you aren't spending on gaming products?

I'm actually spending more now that 4E is out than I did before, but that is primarily due to a big rank increase at work.

In the 3.X era I just didn't have the money to keep up with all of the supplements after 3.5 came out. I had purchased a bunch of the 3.0 supplements, and after 3.5 came out I was a bit gun shy. If I had the salary then that I have now, I would have bought most of the 3.5 stuff.

Now I can afford the supplements for 4E, but they aren't putting any out at the moment.:-S

Also, buying a new house. Woot!

I knew the price on certain firearms was going to skyrocket so I hurriedly made some purchases.....similar to the one below.

Other than that, I am thinking about building me a gaming table like the one from The Ultimate Gaming Table since its large and can fit 9 folks.

What's left of my old RPG money is going to my daughters Karate and Ballerina classes.... :) Trust me, Karate is not cheap.

Spent $300+ on gaming stuff and "mundane'" care package stuff (shampoo, beef jerky, etc.) for service members over in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Yeah, me too. But more package stuff than gaming stuff.

Nice! I just got a 40w Blues Deluxe 1x12 (same as you have, but with a bluesy dirty channel) with an Ibanez TS-808.

My top expenditures, in order of size, are:
- Guitars, amps, stomp boxes, n' other things (can you ever have enough guitars and amps?)
- Entertainment electronics
- Food (I eat out every night, so this amount is astronomical!)
- Comic books and movies
- Computers and accessories

Gaming is actually somewhere near the very bottom of my expenditures. The way I see it, I would save money by going back to my college days of only spending money on Ramen noodles and D&D.

My "brothah from anotha motha!" Besides our common interest in guitar, I, too, eat out almost daily, and am in the process of cataloging and divesting myself of a HUGE (30+ longboxes) comic book collection. (I'm in the middle of a whole-house renovation, and had to move all of those suckers out into a storage facility by myself...and I swore "Never again!")

Its funny: I have several guitars, including 4 electrics, but until now, I've been playing through a Korg PX4 & headphones. A big Christmas gift (and my not buying anymore 4Ed) has let me get my first amp- the aforementioned Fender HRD.

And sometime this week, I'm going to get a Boss RT-20 and Boss RE-20- I spotted them on sale for a whopping $168 less (combined) than anywhere else I've seen in the D/FW Metroplex.

Sigh...I really ought to start another Guitar Gear thread someday.

Paizo gets a regular influx of RPG cash from me due to their subscription services. That's all I'm spending on RPGs these days. I really couldn't say where the "extra" money goes.

That's about what I'm doing too. I've got 3 subs from Paizo going right now. Unfortunately, there aren't all that many opportunities to actually play what I'm buying since one group I play in has a couple of games queued up including a Mass Effect GURPS, 4e, homebrew 3e, and classic modules 3e. And the other group I'm playing in is about 60% through the Shackled City campaign.
So, no dearth of gaming, just hard to work new Paizo fun into the schedule...

Since the release of 4e I have had a lot more cash than I used to. I have been saving at least $150 per month which means I have saved about a thousand dollars in the last six months or so. So far I have travelled to the bay area, taken my SO out to dinner a few times, picked up some new textbooks for my classes, and bought a wii. All in all, not a bad year.

Since having gotten married over a year ago, that budget went down (playing stayed the same though), but I've managed to by other rpgs now, Xbox 360 and PS3 games, more DVDs, and miniatures.

I would like a wii for mii too, but haven't gotten to it yet.

Happy Gaming
