In the "What Class would you want to be?" thread, Stormborn had the great observation:
In the poll, if you'd be multiclassed, choose the class that is primary.
I suspect that, with all the bookish people and techies we have, there'll be a lot of wizards and artificers. I'd definitely be a wizard. As it is I read books of esoteric philosophy, history, and science for fun, and I can only imagine how much of a bookworm I'd become if books also could give me the ability to fly and turn opponents into kittens.
If I had a choice of non-D&D classes, I'd be a AE Magister. I hate preparing spells as a player, and I can only imagine how much I'd dislike it if it was my life. Plus, I'm an incessant generalist, and when I studied martial arts, staff was by far my favorite weapon.
I'd clearly not be minmaxed though. What kind of fool gives their wizard a high strength?
