What d20 game hasn't been done [or done right] yet?

Here it is!

Aliens: Game Over is a role-playing game set in the far future of exploration, where United Systems Military Marines venture forth to meet extremely hostile alien life forms...and kill them.

I've only started looking through it but it seems amazingly complete! Have you considered actually approaching the folks that own this franchise about getting a license for an official release?

I'd like to see a humor-based d20 game. Something along the lines of Terry Pretchett, Robert Asprin, or Piers Anthony's Xanth books. A fantasy world that doesn't take itself particularly seriously. Potable Hole Full of Beer made a good start at this, but I'd like to see a whole world designed around teh funny.

What's this "Hijinx" I keep hearing about? Scooby-Doo-d20?

uv23, why can't you use the A2089 mechanics with the Battletech setting?

I'm one of those rare types that actually likes to buy campaign settings, even if I don't play them. :) I get satisfaction from seeing everything ported over and freshened. I may be nostalgic but not to the point of doing any actual work. ;)

Close. It's more like Josie and the Pussycats D20, though Scooby-doo would be doable. It's a minigame that appeared in a recent Polyhedron.

If you're not getting Dungeon/Polyhedron you're missing some of the coolest things to come out for D20.

Great idea, though I would take it with the Clans too as I'm not that picky. :)

The clans are fine. A lot of great drama and politics came out of the clan wars. But none of this wizkids crap.

My real dream d20 RPG and I think most of us are the right age for this on the board would be:

G.I. Joe (Action Force for you guys in the UK)

Well, unless you're completely hung up on D20, i'd say all is not lost. First, someone has done an excellent version of Fudge based on the stat cards that were on the back of GI Joe figures. Saw it being run at Origins, and i think it's at least partly online.

Second, Cartoon Action Hour is specifically designed for this sort of play--80s action cartoons in general, actually: Thundercats, G-Force, GI Joe, Jem, He-Man, MASK, etc. It's really awesome, in both mechanical feel and execution. You owe it to yourself to pick up a copy, if that's what you want to RP.
