What do you call arcane magic users?

Mage, almost universally. 'Caster' is also used occasionly for arcane casters, but never in reference to divine casters for some reason. Oh, and 'finger waggler' when we're being derogatory, as in 'If the damned finger-waggler had stopped prancing around and stood still, we'd have gotten the stirge off of him."
 

"Mage" does it for Arcanists. Except in old text books, where they are called "Arcanists", or religious documents, where they are called "heretics" or "kindling".

"Priest" works okay for some Divine casters, but I prefer "Clergy" vs. "Animists" (Druids & Rangers).

Mages - arcane casters with access to a 9-level spell list or equivalent (sorcerer, wizard, eldritch weavers)

Dabblers - other arcane casters like bards, assassins.
