What was your first module?

Another one for G1 Steading of the Hill Giant Chief (as the first module I bought and ran, that is). The Games Workshop edition, I think. (I gave it away a couple of years ago to a friend who collects such things.)

Well, I don't know if I've ever PLAYED in a published adventure.... I think I played through The Keep, but I'm not entirely sure. I did play the D&D 3e boxed set (came out when 3e was brand spanking new), but those "noob" adventures don't really count, do they?

First published adventure I ran was Isle Of Dread. And oh, how I love thee. I also love Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan (is it being redone for the new adventure path, or am I just suffering from wishful thinking?) and Expedition to the Barrier peaks.

B2 Keep on the Borderlands - then right into X1 Isle of Dread.

Ditto. I played through the Keep on the Borderlands when my mom bought me the D&D Basic Set (because it was included in the box). When she saw me enjoying it so much, she then bought me the D&D Expert Set, which contained the Isle of Dread.

Of course, I had no one to teach me the game, so I was playing it all wrong. But it produces fond memories nonetheless. (This was back in 1982. I was 10.)

B1 from the Blue Box. We must have played it 20 times, dutifully restatting the rooms each time (cringe).

Oddly enough we never played B2.

But we followed the modules as they came out - S1, G1, etc. Our DM actually ran his ranger through all of G-Q in a solo campaign (with henchmen) before the rest of us tried it. That ranger (Beorn, natch) was legendary.

Amen, brother.

First adventure I ever ran was probably Spindelkonungens Pyramid (Pyramid of the Spider King) or Skelettbyns Hemlighet (Secret of the Skeleton Village), the intro adventures that came with my version of the Swedish RPG Drakar och Demoner. First D&D adventure I ran was A Little Knowledge, the intro adventure that came with the Dark Sun boxed set. I think we didn't finish that one for some reason, which would make the first adventure I actually finished Freedom!.
