D&D 5E What would you play?

I would go with an Arcane Trickster. Between you, the EK, and the two Wizards, that's a lot of arcane fun! It also allows more of the broken spell combinations that current concentration rules prohibit.

If its anything but a straight up dungeon crawl, I'd do Half elf bard/warlock multiclass probably (what I'm playing in the 5E game I'm a player). Lots of skills and you can be the party's face. With that array you can get 18 Dex, 18 Charisma, 16 Con or Int. Eldritch blast works off character level, not warlock level, so you effectively get your archery plus a ton of utility.

Assuming the druid is going to be a shapechanger that does front line duty, I'd say you'd be fine starting as a ranged PC.

Option 1: Human, Halfling or Elven Dex based fighter focused on archery and finesse weapons. With the criminal background you can pick up some stealth skills. Consider rogue multiclassing. Note that these characters can be fun to 'change up' later in gaming if you find a belt of giant strength... they can really have it all by going big weapon to complement that high dexterity defense.

Option 2: Elven Rogue - they're fun in this edition. You can sneak with a longbow.

Option 3: Bard - The druid will have trouble healing while wildshaped, so you might want another class with healing capability and bards are pretty strong in this edition, especially at mid to higher levels.
