What's a good game for...?

2 players 1:1 or 0:2 built-in, netbook or tablet with a browser and Treasure.

Alternatively Olde Worlde .doc/ make PDF copies at the site in the sig. To use in a day ignore the visual stuff and stick to text.

What I meant was, it's not a game that relies on multiple party roles - you can heal yourself, and you don't need a thief or a fighter or anything. And I've always played the game with smaller groups, because it seems to run better that way. FASA always presents their games as smaller-group affairs, and Earthdawn, in my experience, is better as a small group game.
Maybe. My Earthdawn group currently only has two players, but they're accompanied by a GM character and all of them have dabbled into a second profession.

It works well for us because we mostly concentrate on the roleplaying/storytelling aspects and as such it's a welcome break from our combat-intensive, large D&D group.
