Sleeping is kinda weird (yes, I know it was a sarcastic inclusion, with most of the list).Szatany said:Sleeping is fun, it allows for night encounters of a specific kind.
Spraying bitter herbs? So there has been no talk of changing the skill system in way that will result in less failure? Has there been no discussion about racheting up low level PCs because its no fun for Mr. Wizard to miss with his crossbow or Mr. Fighter failing a rather pedestrian will save because 1-20 is too random at low level? I'd like you to put away your zomg he's criticizing WotC glasses and read the post for what it is or just go to another thread little penguin boy.Nifft said:This excellent question...
... has somehow been cheapened. Whatever. I'd like you to stop spraying the bitter herbs, but the discussion seems to be ignoring it, so I'll do the same (excepting this).

I was going to say that sleeping is "not fun" when you have to roleplay the sleeping. Then I realized that dreams can be an interesting roleplaying experience, so I decided to go with sleeping being fun.
Well, I could live without encumbrance rules...Arashi Ravenblade said:I dont think there is anything unfun in this version of D&D. Annoying maybe but unfun and need to go? No.
I didn't know. Anyway, clerics don't need to sleep, they just need to wait for morning (or evening).Shadeydm said:Sleeping was in reference to clerics and wizards needing to sleep to regain thier spells I will clarify the OP.
I thought the "wait" needed to include 8 hours rest, but whatever; characters - whether they cast spells or not - need to sleep sometime...Szatany said:I didn't know. Anyway, clerics don't need to sleep, they just need to wait for morning (or evening).
