What's your favorite RPG that you've never actually played?

Most of the games I really like, I've played at least once or twice. There are plenty of games I'd like to try, but I don't know if I'll like 'em or not.

I'll go with Eclipse Phase -- I like it enough to have bought it, at least.

Deadlands, though currently Eclipse Phase has me in its tractor beam....

That's one I've marshalled, but never had a chance to play, and would really like to.

So my group and I have only ever played D&D. But I'd love to play Star Wars: SAGA Edition, Stargate, Serenity, and PF. My group's just not interested. :.-(

While I haven't played Stargate, I'd strongly recommend the other three games. Star Wars is just a love, Pathfinder is solid and Serenity is very well written for facilitating roleplaying.

Ars Magica and Call of Cthulhu. I've played about half a session's worth of play by post for the first, and only a single one-shot for the second. I'd also like a chance to play Warhammer Fantasy as a player (though I've GMed the new edition)

I vote for

running: Space 1889, Castle Falkenstein, Savage Worlds (will hopefully happen soon)

playing in: Star Wars (1st WotC version; you asked for games one owned)

as experiments: Human Occupied Landfill, Throwing Stones

Rolemaster. I don't have any of the books, and I don't know how it would play, but I'd like to give it a try someday.

I'm in a similar situation concerning Powers & Perils, although I have some PDFs of "rules restatements" from online.

I would advise getting acquainted with RM -- or at least HARP Lite -- before playing, to the extent of generating at least a couple of characters and trying out some action resolution.

HARP Lite is a free download from:
HARP

Look to the left for "FREE Downloads". Choosing the first menu item produces a download dialog for the 4.7 MB PDF.

I'd have to go with:

Eclipse Phase (Posthuman Studios) - I like it so much I almost bought Sunward at Gen Con
Traveller (Mongoose version) - have a lot of the books but have yet to play
Doctor Who (Cubicle 7)
Werewolf

To my good fortune... and persistence... I've managed to play most games I own and am fired up about at least once.

A recent outlier in this department is Diaspora, which seems to elude having me play it. :erm:

I'd also love to actually play a few of the cool D20 variants I missed out on actually playing, like Legend of the Samurai and Spellslinger.
