So far it hasn't been so bad. I've been able to get points for staying home with the kids while my wife went out with her mother. Little did she know, that's exactly what I wanted to do anyway, so it was hardly a sacrifice...
Hehehe. It's instances like that that make me want to have kids...until I think of the hell of hauling them across the state for 3 hours...

Ah, out of Alameda to the wilds of Camp Meeker, where there are more deer than people ;)

And a splendid meal with good friends at the Last Homely Home of the West... :)

unfortunately no.

we left this morning from stoned mtn. and i'm now using my MIL's msntv hookup to keep myself from going crazy. here in fla for 5 days and counting every second until i get to go home again.

Dude, I feel your pain. I wonder if my mother-in-law will get out of her pajamas this year. Or wear some that do not have holes in them.

Ok...better shut up now before I get to spend some quality time on the couch.

I'm going 15 minutes down the road to my in-laws. Which is cool with me, because my mom-in-law is an excellent cook! My Mom, sister, and grandmother are also driving down from NY for the weekend and will be going with us. Laura's grandmother, aunt, uncle, and a few cousins will also be there, so it'll be a full house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Alone crying a dark corner of apartment like every year. Except this year I'm broke cause my idiot roommate lost his job and doesn't have any money to pay the bills. At least I get a 4 day weekend.
