Hey, I've seen his work before, though when he was working under a pseudonym. He's damn good.

Yes he is. And he used to sell his originals incredibly cheap, just to make more space in his studio. :)

I was a big fan of some of the original artists for Magic: the Gathering, particularly Quinton Hoover and Melissa Benson. I'm not sure if either of them ever did any RPG work, but I'd love to see it.

Am I the only one who wants to see more from Wayne A. Reynolds and more black and white stuff by Jennifer Meyer? I would also like to see Joe Mad get into doing more. That piece he did for Races of Eberron is one of my favorites.

I hope so. :\

Sorry, Ashanderai, but I am not a fan.

More Michael Dutton would be appreciated - his work in Ghostwalk was outstanding.

The return of Dave Trampier, Brom, Stephen Fabian, and Tony DiTerlizzi, just to name a few.
Brian LeBlanc. Charles Vess. P. Craig Russell. Anyone but Larry Elmore, Tom Baxa, or Clive Caldwell.

The Art of Gaming...(A wee bit ranty)

Cool art or the lack there of is one my personal pet peeves with RPGs as both a gamer and an illustrator. Has anyone seen a Japanese RPG book or one of the guide books for the MMORGs? Why or why do our RPGs look like text books with an occaisional drawing. Also, aside from the unusually long ears on their Elves, the japanese concepts and designs for western fantasy characters and creatures blow our "dark age punk" look out of the water.

Artists I'd like to see...

Hyung Tae Kim (Magna Carta, War of Genesis, Lineage II, Cover of Savant and Sorceror for Exalted)
Ugetsu Hakua (Burst Angel)
Charles Vess
Tony Diterlizzi
Brian Froud
Wayne Barlowe
Terry Whitlach
Adam Hughes
Carlos Pacheco
Mike Wieringo
My Buddies at Argh Studios*

Any one who worked on the computer/video games Final Fantasy XI ir XII, Lineage II, Legend of Zelda -Twilight Princess.

Probably a dozen more artists I can't think of at the moment but will remember as soon as I press "Submit Reply" :\
