Do you feel that you get more (ahem) 'action' in real life than your character in-game (and in your imagination), or is it the other way around?

Are my characters more romantically active than me? Depends on the character!

The last time I was a player in D&D/d20? Nope. Cha 9 (got to a 12 by the end of the campaign, though) dwarf whose low charisma didn't represent a lack of force of personality so much as a used-car-salesman-annoying-as-hell-yet-ineffective-persistence and a huge ego.

In my current Champions/HERO system game? Yep. Presence 28, Appearance 20 devil-may-care roguish womanizing gambler with superhuman luck.

I'd say the average over the years is probably a bit on the side of Yes; I've played more of the latter type than the former. ;)

Let's see, my last PC was a bitter prick. If the rules of reality follow, he probably got more than his fair share. ;)

(I won't even get into the fact that various characters I have known have wielded the Charm Person spell. Unless, of course, treating you like a friend includes that dreaded "let's just be friends" line... ;) )

My characters rarely have time for that spectrum. Unless it fits into the game/story, generally that entire area is just a reason for the GM to have something nasty happen to you.

The issue (almost) never comes up in games I run or play.

Clearly, it does in real life. My wife would be very upset if it didn't.

I know folks whose games center on the alcohols the PCs drink, their sexual conquests, the depraved and unbalanced off-scene activities in which they engage. Whatever. That's just not my kind of game.

Oh definately me. When I put on my "Party Leader" t-shirt, my wife can't keep her hands off me! "You'd better get ready to make a Fort Save, baby!" she sez.

Deffinitly my characters, infact girls seem more attracted to me when i'm dungeeonering then when I'm my normal self.

When i'm dungeoneering, I'm a humble, heroic, socialist who gives his team-mates all his gold, puts his life on the line for kittens and children, and rarely says a thing that isn't outside that of making another good deed unfold.

Where as in real life I'm a scrubby, smartallic, socialist who gives his friends a hard time, has to deal with children wanting to play with him all the damn time, and rarely says a thing outside that of blaming the whiteman or the liberal media for all the problems in the world.

Then again I don't have magick powers and kickass equipment in RL. Okay let me rephrase that, I don't have kickass equipment in RL. *Is a practicing witch lol..*

Speaking as a GM, I would imagine that the players get more action then their characters, as we seldom go that route in the game. Although we have a couple of players in our group that I doubt get any action, of any kind, with anyone.
